Job Description
Volkswagen of Wesley Chapel is hiring detailers and wash techs. The automotive detailer/washtech position is responsible for cleaning and maintain the cleanliness of vehicle inventory cleaning customer vehicles and predelivery preparation of vehicles as necessary. This individual must be able to work in quickpaced environments and be detailoriented. Prior experience is preferable.
- Ensure the exterior of customer vehicles are thoroughly cleaned before leaving the service department.
- Prepare preowned inventory for wholesale or retail sale.
- Assist with routine inventory washes.
- Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surface to protect surface and preserve shine using provided materials.
- Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Clean upholstery rugs and other surfaces using cleaning agents applicators and cleaning devices.
- Apply revitalizers and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stainresistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Florida Drivers License and clean driving record.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide superior quality service to internal and external customers.
- Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
