Account Executive Media Sales

We are seeking an energetic and resultsdriven Media Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic team in the San Francisco DMA. In this role you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting new business opportunities and managing key client relationships. While experience with print and digital media is a plus it is not required. We are looking for a proactive sales professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is eager to contribute to our success.

What will you do

  • Drive Success with Innovative Tools:Utilize our AIpowered software to enhance every stage of the sales cycle from prospecting and planning to presenting and closing deals.
  • Lead Generation: Call on local small to medium sized businesses to show the value of our suite ofdigital mediaadvertising products from social media display video programmatic SEO/SEM to traditional advertisements. You willgenerate new leads through cold calling networking andprospecting as well as staying aware of any new businesses opening in the area. You will own the sales cycle and will have the support of your local account management team to aid in continued support after the sale!
  • Product Expertise: Become an expert on our digital and print products/services. The firstthreeweeks of hire you will be provided with both global and local training to be fully educated before even going out on your own!You will also have full support throughout your career which includes continual learning and training to grow andachieves success as anAccount Executive.
  • Execute sales tactics:Implementing marketing strategies delivering effective sales presentations with passion to consistently earnretain and increase revenue.
  • Advertising Solutions: Create engaging advertising solutions to solve clients business needs.
  • Client Solutions: Recommend new products and promotional opportunities to current clients and handle objections efficiently. Be a large part ofthe local business communityandboosting your clients businesses through multiple digital media channels.
  • Forecasting: Manage client pipeline and monthly revenue forecast in Salesforce.

Whatwere looking for:

  • Education: BA/BS degree in Advertising Marketing or Communicationsa plus or equivalent experience.
  • Experience:2 years of businesstobusiness outside sales in advertising or media witha proven success in new business acquisition and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Skills: Superior presentation interpersonal and communication skills. Technically savvy with experience in Salesforce Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Mindset: Goaloriented competitive and forwardthinking with strong business and financial acumen.

In accordance with applicable law Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in California. The reasonable estimate is between $75000 to $78000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in San Francisco. If this role is open to candidates outside of San Francisco the salary range would be aligned to that specific location. A final decision on the successful candidates starting salary will be based on a number of permissible nondiscriminatory factors including but not limited to skills and experience training certifications and education.
