Job Description
Red River Technology is currently seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Software Developer to join our team in supporting a Navy missioncritical program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a vital initiative that directly impacts national operational readiness across the entire US Naval Fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers and crossfunctional teams to design test and deliver software solutions.
- Develop clean efficient and scalable code in Java C# Python JavaScript etc.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment.
- Debug troubleshoot and optimize existing codebase to ensure high performance and maintainability.
- Write unit tests and ensure quality of code through automated testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Assist with system integration and ensure seamless communication between systems.
- Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends tools and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in software development.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Java C Python or other programming languages Experience with Git Jenkins Docker or other technologies databases or tools is a plus.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to approach complex problems with analytical thinking and creative solutions.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
- Version Control: Proficiency in Git or other version control systems.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Familiarity with agile development methodologies and software development best practices.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript React etc. is beneficial.
- Experience with databases (SQL NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):
This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the workday.This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with coworkers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.
Special Requirements:
This position operates from a Red River office or Remote office with travel to customer and partner sites as required.
