JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide individual alcohol and cannabis services.
Deliver brief screening assessment intervention and referral for students with conductrelated violations and substancerelated emergency department visits.
Educate students about harm reduction strategies.
Apply motivational interviewing strategies.
Conduct education workshops about alcohol and cannabis for fraternities sororities student organizations and academic classes.
Assist with the development and implementation of health promotion initiatives as needed.
Complete other duties as assigned.
Typical Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a Masters degree or higher plus one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Preferred Education Experience orCertifications:
Knowledgeof and experience with the Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students (BASICS) program and motivational interviewing is preferred.
Knowledge of and experience with health promotion theory and evidencebased prevention and intervention strategies is preferred.
CHES certification is preferred but not required.
Additional RequiredCompetencies:
A commitment to working with diverse populations is essential.
Ability to work with secure and confidential student information including ability to work in an electronic medical record.
Ability tomaintain high standards for evidencebased practice set by relevant professional organizations.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel Outlook).
Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ethical decisionmaking and the ability to be a flexible and collaborative team member.
