Job Description

Looking for your next challenge North America Sort Centers (NASC) are experiencing explosive growth and looking for a skilled highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager with leadership experience and a strong delivery record to join the NASC MidTerm Planning Team (US and Canada). The Sort Center network is the critical MiddleMile solution in the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) group linking Fulfillment Centers to the Last Mile. The experience of our customers is dependent on our ability to efficiently execute new programs and manage volume flow through the middlemile network. The NASC MidTerm Planning Team is expected to lead network planning to address increasing operational complexity from the evolution of new processes such as containerization heavybulky freight international shipping customer returns and Amazon Robotics solutions. We need to continuously innovate on behalf of our customers and develop new operating models and new sciencebased planning tools to efficiently match processing supply to logistics demand.

Supply Chain Manager will serve in a planning and gatekeeping function for the NASC network interacting with all facets of the NASC Network and driving innovation consistency increased control uniformity and the development of a more efficient centralized network planning process with SC Operations and core Transportation teams in the US and Canada.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Supports Planning Functions for NASC including Peak and PrimeWeek with broad scope for US and Canada Sort Centers footprint
Drives integration of all network programs into a single solve at regional and continental level
Leads major network changes from design till implementation: Peak Prime Week Regional and Continental optimizations integrating specific network programs as needed.
Designs all network elements for NASC for all major network transformations: DDU coverage connectivity critical pull times and hourly volume availability profiles.
Secures quality of the network implementation leading new SC and crossdock nodes launch at network level (design ramp up config request & supervision)
Foster communication channels and collaboration with Transportation Configuration teams SC Operations and all relevant Transportation stakeholders for network changes
Develops and maintains Network Design related business continuity plans
Assists in creation of Planning Tech RoadMap for team and promote adoption within team of Operations Research based models and tech solutions to automate processes and optimize network solutions

Bachelors Degree in Business Engineering Operations Supply Chain Transportation Logistics or related field
Experience owning endtoend longterm strategic planning or capacity planning initiatives
3 years of program or project management experience
3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Operations Business Engineering Finance or related fields
2 years of forecasting designing or modeling supply chain
2years of corporate process improvement experience within supply chain
MS Excel: Intermediate. Vlookups and Pivot Tables at minimum.
SQL/Programming Language: Basic utilize to extract manipulate and analyze data.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
