We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Contracts to lead and oversee a broad portfolio of U.S. Government contracts mostly classified and limited unclassified primarily in the Advanced Open Integrated Solutions (AOIS) portfolio.

This role will be an integral part of the business team providing strategic solutions and dynamic recommendations to leadership regarding contractual issues and proposal strategies. In this highly visible role youll provide contractual guidance and support to the business programs and proposal teams and across all phases of the contract lifecycle.

This position is an onsite role to collaborate and support the program team in El Segundo CA

What You Will Do:

  • Support the full contracts & Program management lifecycle inclusive of the development of proposals contract capture & pursuit activity Request For Proposal assessments & reviews preand postaward contractexecution financial aspects of contracts development of complex negotiation strategies that comply with company policies mitigate risk andmaximizebusiness goals and achieve program and other business targets; as well as ownership oversight and administration of contracts within a varied customer portfolio.
  • Lead and support a team of contracts personnel.
  • Customer engagement and collaboration.
  • Develop deep contractual relationships with the U.S. Government and Prime Contractors.
  • Advise senior key team members and program stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations and mitigation of contractual/program risks.
  • Negotiate terms conditions cost fee and price.
  • Provide sound contract guidance to meet customer obligations achieve company goals and comply with company policies.
  • Partner in a collaborative team environment with program managers engineers finance supply chain and legal to achieve mission results.
  • Ability to obtain SCI clearance

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and 10yearsof experience in Government contract administration or similar contracting work
  • Experience working Government or Defense contracts administration under the FAR DFARS and/ or other related government regulations and various contract types such as: CPAF CPIF CPFF FFP T&M OTA Agile
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration with anunderstandingof proposal cost structure performance requirements delivery schedules and terms and conditions
  • Experience briefing andinteractingwith senior and executiveleadership
  • Customerinterface and negotiation experience
  • Excellentwritten and oralcommunication skills
  • Ability to identifyriskandunderstandfinancial implicationswith excellent critical thinking
  • Effective team member; conduct clear concise and frequentcommunicationwith stakeholders
  • NCMA certification
  • Prior experience working in a controlled area (SCIF)
  • Ability to work inexciting work environment with shifting priorities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word ExcelPowerPoint and Adobe

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Work Location:

This position is onsite at our beautiful El Segundo campus located a short ride to any of the more than 15 beaches in the LA area. Our employees enjoy an average of 284 sunny daysin the greater Los Angeles area.

El Segundo CA: salary range for this role is 137000 USD 275000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
