Ensworth School seeks an experienced History teacher to join its high school faculty. The ideal applicant will have three or more years of teaching experience in a variety of high school History and social science courses and the demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues. Flexibility in teaching core courses in both world and American history and across a range of elective options is highly desired as is the ability to work with a range of learners. Additional consideration will be given to applicants who can also teach English. Strong pedagogical content knowledge and proficiency with educational technology are essential as is a growth mindset. Above all the successful applicant will have demonstrated a commitment to the principles expressed in the Ensworth Vision Statement executing their role with moral integrity intellectual vitality discipline compassion humor and joy.
