Job Title: Senior Associate Corporate & Commercial Solicitor 6 PQE)

Location: Brentwood East of England

Salary:per annum

Job Type: Fulltime

About the Firm: Join a leading law firm in Brentwood known for its exceptional standards and dedication to client satisfaction. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Associate Corporate & Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE to contribute to our clients dynamic team and uphold our tradition of excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

Corporate and Commercial Services:

  • Corporate Law Advice: Provide expert counsel across various aspects of corporate and partnership law including:

    • Business and share acquisitions and disposals
    • Management buyouts
    • Share reorganisations issues buybacks and transfers
    • Advice to company directors
    • Corporate governance
    • Joint ventures and shareholder arrangements
    • Partnerships and limited liability partnerships
  • Commercial Contract Arrangements: Advise on diverse commercial contracts such as:

    • Supply of goods and services
    • Distribution outsourcing and fundraising
    • Ecommerce
    • Agency and franchise agreements
    • Intellectual property matters

Client Relationships and Profitability:

  • Maintain firm profitability through effective billing and cultivating strong client relationships.

Document Drafting and Negotiation:

  • Draft documentation using existing precedents and develop new precedents as required. Negotiate transaction documents with high interpersonal skill specialized knowledge and sound judgment.

Product Development:

  • Assist in the development of commercial law products including eproducts available on the firms website.

Marketing and Training:

  • Participate in the firms marketing events and seminars. Contribute to the development and delivery of training events and other marketing initiatives.

Legal Updates:

  • Stay informed about developments in Corporate and Commercial Law.

Additional Duties:

  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required.
