About the Team & Role:
The WebOTT Experiences team is responsible for building and optimizing the UI/UX across all Web and OTT applications at Tubi. This team owns everything that end users see and interact with making it one of the most impactful teams in the company.
As part of this team you will work closely with Product and Design to develop cuttingedge experimentdriven features that enhance the user experience. In addition to frontend development the team maintains the underlying infrastructure improves CI/CD pipelines and ensures seamless app performance at scale.
You will be working with React Node.js GitHub Actions Terraform and CDN infrastructure to build and deploy highperformance applications that reach millions of users.
What Youll Do:
- Own the UI/UX across 19 different platforms ensuring a seamless and highperforming experience for millions of users worldwide
- Lead and drive innovation in building experimentdriven features that push the boundaries of user experience in streaming
- Consistently ship features and improvements across Web and OTT apps with minimal guidance collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver highimpact updates
- Optimize performance and reliability of OTT applications especially on low end platforms ensuring smooth playback and interactions across various network conditions and devices
- Improve and maintain the CI/CD pipeline to streamline deployments and ensure highquality releases across all platforms
- Identify and implement improvements in shared UI components platformspecific optimizations and overall frontend infrastructure
- Mentor and collaborate with fellow engineers sharing technical expertise and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Your Background:
- 5 years of experience developing high performing and scalable web applications using React JS Redux JavaScript Web APIs HTML5/CSS and Typescript
- Experience leading engineering initiatives and effectively communicating with cross functional stakeholders
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements the pay range for this role with final offer amount dependent on education skills experience and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus longterm incentive plan and various benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance a 401(k) plan paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
