TITLE: Financial Analyst Commercial Finance T&HS US and Canada
LOCATION: Westchester IL
REPORTS TO: ManagerCommercial Finance T&HS US and Canada
Primary Function
Responsible for preparation of financial analyses for monthly and quarterly review meetings with senior business leaders partnering with the Commercial team in development of the revenue and profit forecast for the Texture & Healthful Solutions business and supporting ad hoc requests and special projects as necessary.
Key Deliverables
- Prepare financial analyses and presentations for the monthly and quarterly executive business review meetings (e.g. customer analysis material/product line analysis micro and macro volume trends channel analysis etc..
- Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to develop volume and revenue forecasts for the Texture & Healthful Solutions business which incorporate new product offerings customer order trends customer product sales share of customer requirements macro trends impacting customers products and unique sales history.
- Partner with Commercial team to develop and rollup SG&A/OPEX budgets for selling marketing business development and product research and development expenses.
- Provide Commercial/Sales team Category reporting (volume revenue and gross profit) packages to track customer/material performance and optimize profit mix; provide adhoc analyses to help Commercial/Sales team prepare for customer discussions meetings and negotiations.
- Collaborate and partner with Supply Chain Marketing Operations Finance and Pricing COE teams to identify and summarize market and customer trends into actionable insights.
- Support preparation of market intelligence competitive intelligence and business drivers for Commercial leadership team (with enhance focused on Categories i.e. Savory Baking Snack etc..
- Assist leadership team with ad hoc requests in support of Strategic and Operation planning initiatives; support and assist in completion of the Texture & Healthful Solutions 5year Strategic Plan.
- Assist business partners in the development of business cases/discounted cash flow analyses for new investment and capital expenditure projects to increase capacity and grow the business.
- Support efforts to get actionable insights out of data and increase Commercial Finance modeling capabilities (continuous process improvement).
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required
- 03 years of experience in financial analysis reporting forecasting accounting or auditing
- Demonstrated financial and business acumen preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyze financial results and apply variance analysis effectively to explain volume price and mix drivers
- Strong knowledge in and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and rest of Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with various functions within the business; demonstrated success working with internal customers to build rapport and effective relationships
- Strong written verbal communication and presentation skills
- Analytical critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Ability to deal effectively with dynamic change and support team along those lines
Desired behaviors & experiences:
- Previous experience in commercial/financial planning preferred
- Experience working within SAP planning systems a plus
- Proactively engages the right resources from across the organization to understand and explain financial and business results to management/leadership
- Builds sustainable internal and external relationships that deliver value for the business through a commitment to drive a positive customer experience
- Experience in planning coordinating and executing multiple projects simultaneously

Pay Range:
$88000.00$117333.33 Annual
This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a rolespecific commission/bonus.
