Autism Support Professional (DSP)Part Time
A Great Opportunity/$17.25$18.25
At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. We are looking for strong DSPs that love being the community everyday. Responsibilities may include:
- Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities our goal is to foster increased independence choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
- Supervising teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
- Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Providing personal care assistance.
- Taking clients to various community activities and appointments
Requirements for this position include:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Personal reliable vehicle that youre willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
- Valid Ohio drivers license and car insurance.
- Fewer than 6 points in the last three years on your motor vehicle record.
- One weekend day required
- Can push lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb balance kneel and crouch.
