Job Description
We are seeking a talented midlevel associate to join our Banking group in the Chicago office. This position offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to work on complex finance matters while contributing to a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate commitment papers security agreements credit agreements and other loan documents.
- Advise on UCC matters and general corporate law.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on a wide range of finance transactions.
- Provide strategic legal guidance on banking lending and financing issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications:
- JD from a toptier law school.
- 35 years of experience in finance and corporate law ideally in a law firm setting.
- Solid experience with loan documents UCC filings and finance transactions.
- Exceptional academic credentials and law firm experience.
- Strong analytical drafting and negotiation skills.
- A proactive clientfocused approach to legal practice.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base salary ranging from $260000 $390000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
