Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented VMC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating both 3axis and 5axis Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) with a strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints. This role involves ensuring the efficient and accurate production of metal parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Machine Operation: Operate and monitor VMC machines to produce metal parts that meet precise specifications.
- Material Handling: Efficiently load and unload materials onto and from the machines ensuring proper handling and setup.
- Setup & Adjustment: Set up and adjust machine tools and equipment as necessary to maintain smooth production processes.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards.
- Process Management: Ensure the production process runs smoothly promptly addressing any issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean organized and safe work area adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Compliance: Follow established safety and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment and highquality output.
- Previous experience as a VMC Operator 3axis & 5axis.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints
- Ability to operate and program VMC machines
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Basic computer skills
- Diploma/ITI with 23 years experience is preferred
- Proficiency in VMC Operation: Demonstrated expertise in operating both 3axis and 5axis VMC machines.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to accurately interpret engineering blueprints for effective machine setup and operation.
- CNC Programming: Experience with manual CNC programming and a solid understanding of machining techniques.
- Machining Techniques: Good grasp of various machining techniques to ensure efficient and accurate production processes.
Our client is a 20yearold organization involved in the Manufacture of critical components for various projects Defence and Aerospace the Company has developed good knowledge in the machining of materials like Titanium Inconel Invar and Magnesium alloy other than various aluminum alloys. Given this background backed by a facility of high precision machines we are confident of doing any complex machining to the required accuracy and quality to exceed the customers satisfaction.
