Major Duties :1. Responsible for leading planning managing and directing a project team to accomplish the objectives of a project with limited local objectives.
2. Coordinates schedules and assigns project tasks. Maintains working relationships with client functional areas outside of IT.
3. Reviews evaluates and formulates project plans schedules and budgets. Directs systems analysts software designers and programmers to determine the best methods to achieve the projects objectives.
4. May act as Project Manager for major projects and may supervise consultants and analysts.
5. Reports changes in usage.
6. Serves as an expert resource or go to person within a group
7. Conducts preliminary analysis
8. Reviews work of others
9. Strategic in developing implementing and administering IT programs within functional areas
10. Project lead
Knowledge :Is a technical expert with indepth knowledge in area of expertise and strong knowledge of other areas. Understanding of team leadership business practices and their application to effective project management. Strong analytical communication and technical skills.
Experience :Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least four typically six or more years of related experience as a project team member of which at least one year was in a leadership position or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
