We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Vice President for Enterprise Hosting to lead the development and delivery of hybrid cloud services for our growing health system in Louisiana. This role will be responsible for overseeing strategies budgets personnel and technologies to ensure the seamless operation of our onpremises private cloud edge and public cloud environments.

Education

Required Bachelors degree

Preferred Masters degree in a technology field.


Work Experience
Required 10 years of related information technology experience.

Preferred Experience in the healthcare industry.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for hybrid cloud hosting that align with the health systems goals and objectives.
    • Lead the design deployment and management of hybrid cloud environments ensuring integration and interoperability across onpremises private cloud edge and public cloud platforms.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align cloud strategies with organizational priorities and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget & Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for hybrid cloud initiatives ensuring costeffective use of resources.
    • Oversee procurement and vendor management for cloud services and technologies.
    • Ensure financial accountability and transparency in all cloudrelated expenditures.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers architects and IT professionals.
    • Foster a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.
    • Provide professional development opportunities and support career growth for team members.
  • Technology & Operations:
    • Ensure the reliability scalability and security of hybrid cloud environments.
    • Implement best practices for cloud operations including monitoring performance optimization and disaster recovery.
    • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Compliance & Security:
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA) and internal policies.
    • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive patient data and maintain the integrity of cloud environments.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.

  • Broad relevant technical knowledge.

  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills and ability to relate to executive management professionals and business and community leaders.

  • Ability to use excellent judgment in handling difficult situations.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to demonstrate selfdirection initiative and drive.

  • Ensures quality of care and patient satisfaction measured by division performance reviews accreditation and regulatory compliance and patient advocacy scores.

  • Ensures operational profitability with sound financial performance.

  • Develops and achieves longterm strategic business plans through effective relationship building communication planning and fundraising.

  • Oversees the physical & technological infrastructure and develops organizational structures programs and processes.

  • Performs other related duties as required.

Physical and Environmental Demands

Light Work Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount a job should be rated Light Work: 1 when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree; or 2 when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls; and/or 3 when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible. NOTE: The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production rate pace especially in an industrial setting can be and is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt transport storage preparation dispensing administration cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
