Job Description
Job Title: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Warsaw Poland (Hybrid: 23 days onsite/week)
Contract Duration: 01 June 2025 30 November 2025
Type: Contract (B2B or Freelance)
Are you passionate about cloud infrastructure and largescale migrations Were hiring an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support a major enterprise client as they transition from onprem and Azure environments to AWS.
Youll be joining a specialized Migration Factory team working alongside a Senior Project Manager to drive repeatable highvolume migrations using standardized AWS services and tools.
What Youll Do:
Lead infrastructure and database migrations (rehost/replatform) to AWS
Leverage AWS tools such as EC2 RDS EKS IAM DMS SCT and DataSync
Collaborate with Agile teams to align migration efforts with product delivery
Troubleshoot complex migration issues and provide scalable solutions
Optimize AWS environments for security performance and costefficiency
Understand and address technical risks or blockers in cloud transition processes
Requirements:
Proven experience with AWS migrations in multicloud (Azure AWS) environments
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional or equivalent)
Strong understanding of core infrastructure and database migration practices
Experience with DevOps tooling (e.g. CI/CD Kubernetes)
Familiarity with AWS Landing Zone Accelerator is a plus
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Bonus: Experience with AKS to EKS transitions
