Job Description
Responsibilities:
Pursue targeted business at highpotential prospects with >$1 million in sales potential
Utilize sales processes and tools to understand decisionmaking processes and identify business results for prospects
Craft compelling messaging that motivates prospects to change
Secure and conduct facetoface meetings with buying influencers
Prospect and generate new business consistently
Populate the sales funnel with valueadded opportunities and accelerate them through the sales process
Negotiate to create value for the company
Manage support and grow new accounts
Develop and execute business strategies/account plans for assigned customers
Provide monthly analysis of performance versus targets
Prepare and maintain accurate 18month Rolling Forecasts and Annual Budgets
Manage working capital aspects including inventory and receivables
Work closely with Product Development Market Development and other support functions
Lead and motivate customerfocused teams of crossfunctional associates
Develop mastery of company products services and offerings
Provide unique critical perspectives to improve customers businesses and outline ROI of commercial relationships
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or experience in a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales preferably in the packaging industry
Proven success in new business development and strategic account management
Experience working with consumer packaged goods companies and/or OEMs is desired
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM systems preferably Salesforce
Ability to travel 5060 of the time
