Job Description

Position Purpose
To help manageprojects withinour National Brands Groupcoordinate designand permittingtaskswhile exceeding client expectations. Work with a team of project managers designers and CAD techs as well as subconsultants to achieve project success. Provide leadership coaching and mentorship to design staff within theNational Brandsdivision. Excellent opportunity for advancement into lead technical role in theNational Brandsdivision.
Essential Functions Responsibilities
- Lead a projectfocused production team provide resource management resolve both technical and design problems coach train and mentor design and CAD professionals and work collaboratively with all team members on all aspects of project deliverables
- Manage design and production of civil engineering construction documents (site plans utility plan/profile stormwater management facility CDs design reports specifications)
- Assist with QC and oversight ofcivil utility and site design (water sanitary sewer storm drain HGL modeling fire flow design grading sediment and erosion control and storm water management) and coordination with typical subconsultants (Geotech architect environmental)
- Assist in reviewing agency coordination for site permitting with project team
- Work in accordance with company standards with project team from concept phase through construction administration for a variety of projects
- Scheduling of projects for permitting internal resources and viability of deliverables for clients
Qualifications
- Fouryear bachelors degree from an accredited program in Engineering of similar field
- PE (multistate licensure preferred)
- 5 years of experience in civil site designand design team management
- Strong proficiency in design of water and sewer mains mass grading roadway horizontal and vertical design erosion control and storm drainage for commercial projects
- Thorough background in civil design governmental regulations AutoCADCIVIL 3D plan preparation surveying principlesand/orconstruction techniques
- Experience working with client prototypes and standards preferred
- Experience withnationalretail rollouts and highvolume design preferred
- Candidates should be prepared to provide work samples and/or take a CAD assessment
Preferences
NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) license preferred(PE candidates)
