The Sales Representative / Account Manager is responsible for maintaining customer relationships and growing sales in their territory utilizing a combination of sales service and interpersonal skills.
Engage with customers and prospects to identify their specific needs and clarify how Greener products and services can help to meet those needs through quality and productivity improvements.
Work with customers and prospects to identify compelling possibilities for quality productivity and efficiency improvements.
Facilitate the presentation of technical information on the features and advantages of Greener products and services.
Assess and document customers packaging lines and equipment to record type condition setup operating efficiency current part designs sources etc.
Provide essential value proposition explanations for crimpers jaws and knives on flowwrapping and bagging packaging machinery.
Provide systematic followup with customers and prospects on open issues quotations etc.
Maintain regular contact with customers and prospects via plant visits telephone email etc.
Effectively plan and execute customer/prospect meetings and spend up to 12 weeks per year on sales trips.
Keep adequate records of customer interactions sales visits territory performance etc.
Organize and update customer information to ensure accurate addresses contact details special requirements etc.
Effectively communicate customer needs and requirements to help ensure the timely and accurate transfer of information to other departments at Greener.
Prepare and maintain expense accounts.
Participate in trade shows as needed.
Operate professionally in line with company objectives policies and values.
Physical: Able to meet the physical demands of domestic and international travel customer site visits and tradeshow exhibitions.
