Job Description
The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University (ASU) is seeking a fulltime benefitseligible tenured Advance Associate or Full Professor in Psychology whose research focuses on organizational science defined broadly as the study of structures behaviors and dynamics of groups. Areas of particular interest include (but are not limited to) digital/cyberpsychology cultural dynamics and socialemotional health processes. For this position we are seeking an individual to develop a research and curricular concentration in organizational science at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Preference will be given to candidates who can collaborate with existing Psychology faculty and whose research interests complement our strengths in cognitive science and social/health psychology (e.g. psychosocial sociocultural and neurobiological models of stress emotion relationship dynamics and health).
The School of Social and Behavioral Sciences is presently in a period of expansion and innovation around several new initiatives and programs in Psychology including behavioral data science industrial organizational psychology positive psychology and sport psychology. Since Fall 2021 we have added seven new tenured/tenuretrack faculty in Psychology.

Successful candidates will demonstrate throughout their materials how their teaching research and service will contribute to the fulfillment of this charter.
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Primarily teach inperson undergraduate and graduate courses in relevant areas of psychology
- Effectively teach supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
- Conduct an active program of research including publication and grantseeking
- Assist with programrelated administrative duties
- Engage in service activities to support the unit college and university
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or terminal degree in Psychology or related field at the time of hire
- To be considered for the Advanced Associate/Full Professor positionmeet the criteria for tenure and promotion at Arizona State University.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience contributing to curricular and program development and maintenance
- Experience or interest in initiative or program leadership
- Evidence of experience or interest in teaching organizational science or related topics
- Research interests that align with digital/cyberpsychology cultural dynamics or socialemotional health processes within the field of organizational science
- Evidence of a strong research program and potential for external funding
- Demonstrate experience in promoting interdisciplinary collaborations in research
- Experience and evidence of effective teaching and mentoring students to conduct research at the undergraduate and/or graduate level e.g. student evaluations syllabi peer observation annual evaluations etc.
- Desire or willingness to teach quantitative methods or multivariate analysis at the graduate level
- Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with students from a wide variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds including firstgeneration college students
