About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Lead Software Developer (C#/Azure) to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for leading software development projects guiding the technical direction and mentoring a team of developers. You will work on engineering scalable highquality solutions and actively contribute to a fastmoving agile development environment.
What You Will Bring to the Role
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field OR equivalent experience/certifications
- 8 years of handson experience in software development with expertise in leading projects and mentoring teams
- Passion for delivering sustainable highquality solutions
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to take ownership while collaborating in a remote team environment
- A driven collaborative and enthusiastic personality
- A full grasp of the agile software development life cycle
- Effective presentation skills to individuals and groups
- Mentoring and training skills to guide the technical growth of software developers
What You Will Be Doing
- Lead software development projects assessing and communicating project progress and roadblocks
- Provide input to the implementation strategy of various initiatives
- Engineer technical solutions that maintain high standards of software quality
- Mentor peers on the how what and why of technical solutions
- Actively participate in code reviews and estimation activities
- Provide input into continuous improvement experimentation
- Provide production support as needed
- Create and update software artifacts
- Actively participate in a fastmoving agile software development team
