Description
The senior security engineer will join a talented global team of cloud security engineers penetration testers and security architects. This role applies cybersecurity subject matter expertise to challenging security engineering cloud and architecture problems across HP. This role is a central member of the architecture & security engineering function which is solving some of the most challenging problem within HPs cloud onpremises SaaS and product architectures.As a senior cloud security Engineer this role will participate in developing cloud security controls for HPs public cloud and advise teams across HP on building secure solutions.
Responsibilities:
Applying handson cloud security expertise to strengthen HPs cloud presence in AWS Azure and GCP. Providing deep technical guidance on HP Cybersecurity architecture. Leads architecture reviews to strengthen HPs products and services. Identifies opportunities to improve HPs security posture in the cloud. Works with stakeholders across the enterprise and establishes/maintains relationships. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing security requirements.
Knowledge and Skills Required
Strong handson knowledge in AWS Azure or GCP. Extensive cybersecurity knowledge across all domains. Strong subject matter expertise in at least the following areas:
- Cloud Security
- Application Security
- Data Protection & Privacy
- Network Security
- Cryptography
- Identity & Access Management
Knowledge of applicable industry standards leading security practices and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of security fundamentals and general security technologies. Strong ability to motivate and lead team members in a remote/virtual environment.
Experience Required
8 years of experience working in an enterprise environment. Domainrelevant training and certifications
