Job Description
One of the leading companies in the Space industry is working on pivotal European space programs and needs a AOCS & GNC Architect to join their team. This department isresponsible for the AOCS & GNC activities for all missions. Their focus is to establish the architecture perform the related analyses develop the software select and procure the hardware perform the subsystem verification and validation and support system level activities.
Required Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Engineering or doctoral degree in aerospace engineering or comparable qualifications and professional experience of at least 5 years
- Experience in the space business especially with AOCS/GNC architectures design and verification and validation processes of at least 5 years
- Experience in AOCS/GNC subsystem lead role of at least 2 years
- Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink Office Tools and DOORS
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- High motivation and proactive involvement
- Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Technical Lead of AOCS/GNC subsystems
- Develop AOCS/GNC architectures and perform related tradeoffs
- Lead the Design and Development of AOCS/GNC subsystems
- Lead the Verification and Validation of AOCS/GNC subsystems
- Technical Support to Procurement of AOCS/GNC equipment
- Support to satellite projects from start to customer acceptance
- Support to satellite proposals and system studies for AOCS/GNC topics
- Preparation of technical documentation
