Job Description

Schedule
- Parttime 48 hours every two weeks
- 8 & 12hour rotating overnight shifts 7 p.m. 7:30 a.m. & 11 p.m. 7:30 a.m.
- Every third weekend Friday Saturday Sunday Holiday rotation
- St. Cloud Hospital EmPATH Behavioral Health Observation Unit
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $18.11 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay range: $17.28 $25.89 per hour

Qualifications
- High School Diploma GED or equivalent required.
- 2 years of college with courses in psychology sociology and/or social work preferred.
- Six months experience in nursing assistant or similar role preferred.
- Must be able to effectively handle escalating behavior and utilize physical safety holds with aggressive patients.
- NonViolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training initial and ongoing training provided.
- Basic Life Support required and provided.
EmPATH is a dedicated healing environment separate from the emergency department staffed with a multidisciplinary psychiatric team providingEmergencyPsychiatricAssessmentTreatment andHealing to those initially presenting to emergency rooms with mental health urgencies. Interested applicants should prefer working in a dynamic team oriented fast paced environment providing delegated behavioral health interventions to patients with acute mental health urgencies in an Observation setting. Applicants will also appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with our EmPATH team and various community partners involved in developing Community Treatment plans.
