LSKD is an Australianowned and operated brand founded in Logan Brisbane that prides itself in producing highquality functional sportswear with a street aesthetic. We want to bring our mission and values to life in everything that we do and want our team to be inspired by this mission too.

The gig

Our Community Marketing Managers play a key role; reporting directly to the Chief Retail Officer and supporting our highly capable Head Coaches (Store Managers). We dont have a store in WA yet but we know the community is chomping at the bit to see one pop up! Leading with our values at the forefront this role will be hands on in activating the WA community in person and elevating our community marketing in the region. The CMM will build regional community strategies that align back to the LSKDs initiatives and bring them to life in market. Its the role of the CMM to make sure everyone is happy creating spaces and building relationships in which all benefit. This role will work directly with future store Head Coaches liaise with the HQ departments and will also coordinate the Street Teams in the region to activate in local communities.

Responsibilities include however are not limited to:

Create a Community:

  • Spend 45 days a week sweating with the community creating a broad campaign of opportunities to activate the community in person this means being out at events on the ground in the gym and joining the local community run clubs
  • Ensure to capture content for socials at a store and regional level

Develop a Team of Leaders:

  • Support the retail teams to build a world class street team that embraces and shares our values with their local communities

Key Events & Moments:

  • Plan execute and evaluate external events categorised into Street Brand and Charity disciplines aligning back to the company annual brand campaigns
  • Collaborate with the wider CMM team to ensure seamless coordination and
  • Conceptualise and execute brand campaigns that engage and inspire our communities
  • Collaborate with the creative and digital teams to create compelling events and brand activations
  • Manage and run the road program in your region building strategy and plans for where and how to show up galvanising the street team to support

New Store Community Building:

  • Leads the new store opening strategy for community activations
  • Preseeds and heats up the community in advance building plans to support a strong opening
  • Plans and executes on activations and events and builds relationships with key athletes and community members

Leading Store Community Programs:

  • Support Head Coaches to bring their community store programs to life in a meaningful way that inspires growth of existing community and finds new community members
  • Support coach and hold accountable Head Coaches to build their own compelling instore community strategies
  • Foster and manage relationships with Team LSKD influencers and community athletes building new relationships everyday
  • Run the Team LSKD onboarding program

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Act as the front line of communication between LSKD and its community in Australia and New Zealand
  • Act as the glue connecting the Community Marketing Team with the wider Partnerships Team and other departments within LSKD

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Provide regular reports on the effectiveness of events campaigns and communitybuilding efforts

New Territory Specifically:

  • Building and nurturing relationships with athletes community members and businesses
  • Running key brand and athletic events for our community
  • Running and facilitating the van pop up program
  • Supporting the attraction of fitness partnerships and the onboarding of them
  • Scouting new store and showroom opportunities
  • Recruiting a team of potential candidates keeping relationships warm

    • 35 years of community leadership experience in similar roles including relationship building project management and new business/store development
    • Proven skills in managing a strong high performing and happy team
    • Evidence of driving growth beyond what appears possible that has the guest and employees at the heart of the
    • Proven ability to create a community networking and relationship building experience
    • Proven ability to build and manage a budget
    • Able to vision strategise and lead a plan to and galvanise a team around it
    • Understanding and ability to operate within an omnichannel environment
