Position Overview:
We are looking for a detailoriented and experienced Change Manager with a strong background in ITIL to join our client IT Service Management team. The Change Manager will oversee the change management process ensuring that changes are implemented efficiently with minimal risk and in a way that aligns with the organizations objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Management: Lead the change management process from start to finish including planning and continuous improvement.
- Risk Assessment: Review change requests to assess risks and potential impacts ensuring that necessary precautions are taken before implementation.
- CAB Coordination: Organize and lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review and decide on change requests ensuring they align with the organizations goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for all change management activities keeping stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the process.
- Documentation and Compliance: Create and maintain documentation for change management procedures ensuring they comply with ITIL standards and organizational policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Use data from change management activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on change management procedures and tools fostering a culture that values structured and wellmanaged changes.
- Tool Management: Manage change management tools to ensure they are effectively supporting the process and meeting organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors degree in IT Business Administration or a related field. ITIL Foundation Certification is required; advanced ITIL certifications are preferred.
- Experience:At least 35 years of experience in IT change management within a complex organization.
- Knowledge:Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices in service management. Experience with tools like ServiceNow or BMC Remedy is advantageous.
- Skills:Strong organizational analytical and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
