As a member of the IT Systems team you will be responsible for managing and securing Anthropics essential business applications while ensuring smooth employee lifecycle operations. This role combines technical expertise and security with process development to support our growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain core business applications including Google Workspace Jira/Atlassian suite Slack Outline Asana GitHub/Gitlab and Claude.ai/Console
• Design and implement security controls and compliance reporting processes across all core applications
• Develop and maintain employee lifecycle management procedures including comprehensive onboarding and offboarding workflows
• Monitor application security perform regular audits and implement best practices for access management
• Collaborate with various teams to optimize application configurations and workflows
• Create and maintain documentation for all core applications and processes
• Respond to and resolve applicationrelated incidents and service requests
• Stay current with security best practices and compliance requirements

You may be a good fit if you

• Have 5 years of experience administering enterprise SaaS applications
• Possess strong knowledge of identity and access management principles
• Have experience implementing security controls and compliance frameworks
• Demonstrate excellent problemsolving and documentation skills
• Are experienced with employee lifecycle management in a fastgrowing organization
• Have strong communication skills and can work effectively with various stakeholders
• Are detailoriented with a focus on process improvement

Strong candidates may also:

• Hold relevant certifications (e.g. Google Workspace Security CISSP)
• Have experience with automation and scripting for application management
• Bring experience with SOC 2 and other compliance frameworks
• Have managed core applications in a highsecurity environment
• Demonstrate experience with API integrations between enterprise applications
• Show proven success in building scalable IT processes
• Have experience with change management and user training

Logistics

Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Locationbased hybrid policy: Currently we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25 of the time. However some roles may require more time in our offices.

Visa sponsorship:We do sponsor visas! However we arent able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.

We believe that the highestimpact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few largescale research efforts. And we value impact advancing our longterm goals of steerable trustworthy AI rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. Were an extremely collaborative group and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highestimpact work at any given time. As such we greatly value communication skills.
