Job Description
Perform exercise strength endurance flexibility and other physiological testing as necessary to assist in developing an individualized exercise prescription for assigned patients/clients in collaboration with the Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team. Assist with the orientation and evaluation of participants during the exercise program in collaboration with the cardiovascular health team.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Physiology Exercise Science or Exercise Kinesiology required. Masters degree required within 5 years of employment.
Experience from a formal Cardiac Rehabilitation internship program preferred.
BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire. Exercise Specialist Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine is required within 2 years of hire.
