We are seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel for a global private bank in Switzerland. The Senior Legal Counsel will play a crucial role in advising on regulatory matters related to crossborder banking as well as in the transaction structuring for credit and financing agreements. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Legal and General Counsel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a legal advisor to the private bank and coordinate closely with the Head of Legal and General Counsel
- Provide legal advice on crossborder banking matters
- Engage as a legal advisor to support in scoping and structuring credit and financing agreements for both corporate and private clients
- Maintain a thorough understanding of associated regulations and legal requirements related to the private banks business practices
- Senior Legal Counsel with 710 years of experience; proven experience in private banking is essential for this role
- Experience in advising on legal risks related to crossborder banking practices particularly in sophisticated credit and financing agreements structured in Switzerland or Luxembourg
- Excellent drafting and communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Fluency in English both written and verbal; German language skills would be beneficial
- Must be highly organized and efficient with the ability to drive projects and deliver against set timelines
- Highquality collaboration skills in a teamoriented environment
