Our client Smoobu a subsidiary of HomeToGo Group is a fastgrowing startup in the vacation rental industry. Smoobus allinone SaaS solution for private hosts currently manages over 70000 properties across more than 120 countries. Smoobus priority is to help its hosts efficiently manage and grow their business.
You will be part of a young ambitious and international team that is passionate about exceeding customer expectations through expert advice and action. As we continue to innovate and expand our offerings we are
looking for talented and driven individuals eager to take on the challenge of transforming the vacation rental industry and taking it to the next level.
In this role you will
- Work handinhand with business stakeholders to identify requirements plan milestones and polish features by measuring their performance
- Decompose the monolith building and perfecting a variety of APIs to enable seamless integration with external partners as well as interservice communication
- Migrate the application environment from the private cloud to the AWS platform
- Choose adequate technical and business metrics to monitor features and manage the risk
- Apply engineering best practices to the current team environment
- Contribute to the resolution of technical design issues
What you will bring
- Relevant experience in Backend engineering
- Knowledge of recent PHP & Symfony versions
- Practical experience and understanding of creating testable code(unit and integration tests)
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL)
- Practical knowledge of Decomposing monolithic architectures Clean Coding TestDriven Development SOLID principles and Docker
- Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a distributed team
- Fluent knowledge of English
