WHAT TO EXPECT
This position will require highly qualified knowledge of FIORI/ ODATA technologies and UI Application. Incumbent will apply technical proficiency and hand on expertise across different stages of implementation & support including designing architecting & implementing SAP FIORI UI5 Applications. This position requires technical knowledge of Fiori and UI5 framework ability to design web experiences and build Fiori apps.
This role will represent as technology SME for Fiori / SAP UI5 and work very closely with Centralized COE Regional project & deployment and numerous other technology resources to build effective mobility solution. Internally this role will report to Gates ERP Technical Services lead in US.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively engage and support discussion with AMS vendors and implementation partners develop SAP Fiori applications.
- Develop & Manage Development Standards for Fiori application development
- Be handson SAP Fiori custom application and modification expert and prepare / review project deliverables (e.g. Asses the complexity of tobe technical requirements estimate the scope develop technical specifications develop code as per SAP UI5 standards create unit test plans) to ensure they meet project objectives.
- Prototype develop and deploy custom SAPUI5 applications using HANA Business Technology Platform Web IDE and Business Application Studio
- Develop SAP OData Models using SAP Gateway Service builder and CDS Views
- Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 apps using SAP Web IDE consuming Gateway OData/Restful APIs JSON services and Git
- Assist in the integration of frontend UI/UX components with backend technical and application components as per business requirements
- Manage L1 & L2 level SAP Fiori production support along with code migration of fixes and enhancements.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field. Or equivalent work experience.
- 5 Years of experience implementing & supporting fulllife cycle of large and complex SAP enterprise environments with minimum of 2 years of experience on SAP S/4 HANA solutions.
- 5 years of experience in SAP FIORI development & methodologies.
- 2 years Object Oriented ABAP SAP Gateway and ODATA development.
- Hands on experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 Applications Development in SAP Web IDE or Business Application Studio.
- Expertise with Fiori SAPUI5 and Fiori UI elements building integrations using OData services and CDS Views.
- Experience in OData Service consumption on UI using GET PUT POST methods
- Good understanding of FIORI concept system architecture FIORI Launch pad configuration and app integration.
- Candidates should be able to communicate in the English language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- SAP FIORI Certifications.
- Minimum 1 full lifecycle SAP Implementation.
- Working Experience in SAP Business Application Studio
- Mobile App development including SAP Fiori for iOS/Android.
