Job Description

Job Description: As the Automotive Service Director you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department. Your leadership will be key in ensuring that customer needs are met service performance goals are achieved and the team is working efficiently and effectively. You will manage both the customer service experience and the technical operations ensuring highquality repairs and timely service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead motivate and manage a team of automotive technicians service advisors and other service department staff.
  • Oversee daily service operations including scheduling workflow and technician assignments.
  • Ensure quality control standards are met on all repair and service work.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor service department productivity and profitability meeting or exceeding established goals.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient service department including inventory management and parts ordering.
  • Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to ensure seamless service operations.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends new technologies and best practices in automotive service management.
  • Conduct performance reviews provide training and promote career development for team members.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in automotive service with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a fastpaced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and service management software.
  • A strong customerfocused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • ASE certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or degree in Automotive Technology or related field is a plus.

Pay is Commensurate with Experience
