Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of three finance professionals.
- Oversee financial reporting accounting and compliance in accordance with GASB.
- Prepare and review financial statements ensuring accuracy and adherence to institutional policies.
- Manage budgeting forecasting and financial analysis to support decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with higher education financial reporting standards and best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (CPA or advanced degree preferred).
- Extensive experience in financial reporting and accounting within the higher education sector.
- Strong knowledge of GASB standards and governmental accounting practices.
- Prior experience leading or managing a finance team.
- Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
