We have an exciting new role for a Childrens Social Worker is required to join Solihulls Safeguarding Service. This is a great opportunity to be part of a closeknit team.
What will your responsibilities be
The role involves being on duty for one week in five handling Section 47 enquiries and Section 17 assessments and ensuring assessments and interventions are completed within statutory timescales to a high standard. You will work in the office during duty weeks focusing on the voice of the child and strong analysis. The position offers a manageable workload with current caseloads around 12 families and flexible workfromhome arrangements outside of duty days. The role involves completing Child in Need and Child Protection work conducting Risk Assessments and creating Child in Need Plans. It also requires completing Child and Family Assessments and having experience working with Section 47 enquiries.

To be eligible for this role you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess postqualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
