Job Description
ASP Web Solutions LLC is looking for a PACS Workstation Support to join our team in Portsmouth VA. This person is responsible for daytoday onsite operations and maintenance of the diagnostic quality control and clinical workstations that are included in the PACS. He/she will be shall be responsible for supporting and/or performing the installation and configuration of new or replaced hardware and software components.
The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background a solid understanding of applicable analytics and a natural curiosity for producing effective solutions. This person is patient has excellent timemanagement skills and practices of effective communication style.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Providing technical support to endusers (radiologists technicians etc. regarding PACS software and hardware.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to PACS system functionality.
- Responding to inquiries and resolving problems related to image access workflow and system performance.
- System Maintenance and Administration:
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the PACS system.
- Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as system backups and updates.
- Managing user access and permissions within the PACS system.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
- Two years of experience is required
- Knowledge of all engineering tools and applications and programming languages
