As the primary point of contact for our customers and their investors we handlecustomer support cases provide valuable product feedback and expertly manageSPVs and Fundsfrom formation to closingand beyond. Our team ensures a seamless experience every step of the way helping investors navigate their journey with confidence.
About the Opportunity
AtSydecar were on a mission to empower thousands of investors to back visionary entrepreneurs who are changing the world. As aSenior Fund Accountant youll play apivotal rolein supporting ourSPV and fund clientsthroughout the lifecycle of their investment vehicles. Your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex investment transactions and providing critical support to our internal teamsall within a fastgrowing dynamic environment.
What youll do:
Manage postclosing events for Sydecars SPV and Fund products including transfers of interest conversions and realizations
Serve as an escalation contact for other members of the Customer Experience team as they encounter complex investment structures
Provide exceptional customer service as you lead onboarding calls with newlysigned fund customers and manage the relationship on an ongoing basis
Assist with quarterly management fee payments and prepare financial reporting packages for fund clients and investors
Ensure standardization across the team by developing thoughtful repeatable standard operating procedures
Prepare and review distribution calculations
Set up and review payments to companies and investors
What were looking for:
3 years of experience in a Fund Accountant position
Strong understanding of venture capital/private equity structures and operations.
Proficiency in US GAAP
Exceptional attention to detail process driven and highly organized with an eye for process/product improvement
Strong communication skills with a passion for client service and creating positive customer experiences.
High proficiency with Excel
Experience technologydriven organization
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
