This position requires an exceptional person who possesses desire to serve adolescents in a small shortterm residential setting. Under the immediate supervision of the Youth Crisis Respite Center Director the Youth Crisis Respite Center Program Specialist performs highlevel administrative and managerial work with staff other agencies community organizations consumers/families and the general public. Plans develops and implements community services programming. Oversees and improves service delivery system. Collaborates with intra and interagency staff to improve Medicaid services. Assist staff with training related to completing their job functions. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Performance Standards
Plans develops and implements respite programming per authority guidelines and/or grantguidelines.
Collaborates with intra and interagency staff to ensure continuity of care for youth in services
Conducts community outreach to ensure continued development and success of the program
Performs Data Collection and Analysis to plan for and make projections for current and futureprogramming
Responsible for assisting with all business and administrative functions within the respitehouse
Exercises independent judgment
Supports staff in providing Person Centered Recovery Planning and services
Submits all requisite paperwork to include time sheets travel logs service reports purchaseorders vendor logs and other required or requested documentation in an accurate and timelymanner
Ensures all policies associated with the program are current and reflect best practices and programmatic operations
Oversees and improves service delivery systems
Analyzes data to plan and make projections for current and future programs regardingutilization.
Reviews MHA milieu reporting for content and accuracy.
YCRC Program Specialist provides onsite administrative and supervisory duties in absence ofYCRC Director.
Requires flexibility in schedule.
Develops appropriate forms for program as needed.
Participates in CQI development and operationalizes initiatives identified.
Leads discharge planning and continuity of care followup.
Actively engages with youth parents and direct care staff.
Utilizes strength based foundations and perspectives when engaging with youth parents and direct care staff
Program Operational Management
Work toward creating centers of excellence fostering continuous improvement with a personcentered and trauma informed approach
This position attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with HillCountry Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Center (HCMHDDC) leave policy
Adheres to all HCMHDDC agency policies
Performs other duties as assigned
