What youll create and do
Theres more to tax than meets the eye. Its more than preparing tax returns its about identifying business opportunities. Tax impacts the bottom line and is on the board agenda. Businesses rely on sound tax advice to help them finance operations identify a new office location overseas and even how to reward people.
At PwC Tax were on the cutting edge of one of the most challenging and intellectually rigorous fields working and teaming with some of the worlds largest organizations on tax planning global structuring and tax controversy. Our teams collaborate with subjectmatter specialists and connect with our clients to develop innovative ideas and results.
Our Tax CPA Accelerate Coop Program will provide you with many opportunities and tools to broaden your consulting skills and deepen your theoretical and technical knowledge.
As your career progresses youll advise on publicly traded corporations private companies and high net worth individuals on intricate tax matters helping them comply with the growing and increasingly complex tax compliance requirements.

What youll bring to this role:
Enrolled in or completed postsecondary education and working to obtain or have obtained all Canadian CPA required prerequisite courses
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients
Share and collaborate effectively with others building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust
Ability to easily adapt and prioritize demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities

Youll be comfortable travelling to cities across Canada (when deemed safe to do so by applicable public health or regulatory authorities and PwC)
This role requires that you are legally entitled to work for PwC in Canada for the intended duration of the offer/contract.
Wed love it even more if youre bilingual in English and French however this isnt a requirement.
