Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Nurse Manager facilitates the realization of the organizations mission strategic plan and values at the point of care. Plans for leads coordinates and facilitates the provision of quality care and service for a defined population of patients and facilitates the procurement of appropriate supplies/equipment and provides for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver nursing care. The Nurse Manager demonstrates excellence in problem solving leadership communication fiscal responsibility and teamwork. The Nurse Manager provides leadership consultation and collaboration in a dynamic multidisciplinary teaching environment. They collaborate with administrators and other members of the health care team to design evaluate and improve patient care systems and processes.
EDUCATION:
Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required. BSN required. Masters Degree preferred preferably in nursing management or a related health field.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three 3 years nursing experience. Healthcare leadership experience.
