About the team and the role:
eBays Global Marketing team drives customer acquisition and retention through digital marketing including performance marketing partnerships programmatic display SEM customer marketing analytics brand and marketing technology. This team delivers largescale impactful marketing experiences to support eBays growth.
The Display Media Specialist will play a key role in leading and optimizing media campaigns designing marketing tests and crafting the display channel strategy. This role involves identifying new opportunities running concurrent tests and managing complex campaigns across multiple regions and partners.
What you will accomplish:
Plan implement and optimize campaigns through collaboration with agencies internal teams and partners.
Work with vendors to run A/B and multivariate tests analyze results and scale successful strategies.
Introduce new creative formats tracking methods and media technologies to enhance marketing efforts.
Focus on metrics like active buyers lifetime value and revenue through datadriven experimentation.
Evaluate performance marketing trends and competitors to uncover new opportunities.
Continuously refine campaign strategies audience targeting creative assets and bidding approaches.
Proficient in both German and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
What you will bring:
5 years in paid digital media and deep knowledge of online advertising trends and platforms.
Handson experience with Google Ads DSPs and networks like DV360 Criteo and Yahoo; expertise in handling CTV Online Video Display and Audio campaigns.
Shown success in crossfunctional partnership external agency management and getting results through influence.
Experienced in developing Display media solutions optimizing performance and demonstrating datadriven insights.
Thrives in fastpaced ambiguous environments maintaining focus under pressure with a positive proactive approach.
Strong written verbal and presentation skills with an ability to establish structured workflows and processes.
