Electrical Design Project Manager Grand Rapids/Royal Oak Michigan
DISHER is currently partnering with an Engineering Consulting company in Michigan in their search for an Electrical Design Project Manager. The Electrical Design Project Manager will working with building systems electrical designs such as lighting system design equipment sizing BIM in Revit and interpretation of electrical drawings. This position will work mostly in critical environments and will work cross collaboratively with other engineering teams.

Interpret technical specifications equipment cutsheets and catalog data
Work cross functionally with all other teams and engineers
Manage large projects Design Engineers and Interns
ensure timely deliverables that are in sync with design and construction milestones
Interface with clients vendors architects and contractors to ensure timely and smooth completion of projects
Model projects in Revit
See projects through from design phase to assisting with construction deliverables
Work in critical environments within healthcare research higher ed and automotive
What will make you successful
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
Professional Engineer (preferred)
Minimum 5 years of Electrical Systems Engineering including construction drawings specification review equipment submittal review and construction installation experience is required
Required to have demonstrated experience in the application of electrical building codes NFPAfacility guidelines institute and healthcare codes
Experience with building software Revit and Naviswork
Experience with parameters outline by renewable energy systems LEED Green Globes and any other relevant energy conservation principles preferred
