Job Description
What you will get to do:
- Review new part specifications and advise on procurement feasibility
- Perform payback analysis and other justifications to support purchasing and investment projects
- Improve and support new and existing procurement operations methods and processes for cost reduction quality and efficiency improvements
- Conduct studies in purchasing operations to maximize workflow
- Create cost comparisons and return on investment calculations to assist in supplier selection and purchasing decisions
What Will Make You Successful:
- Experience working with medical device assembly production and various manufacturing processes such as injection molding extrusion or machining
- Previous experience within purchasing or procurement for manufacturing
- Exposure to project management and ability to autonomously operate in your role
- Ability to accurately forecast costs and needs before they arise
