Portfolio and Operations Manager

About the role
You will play a key role in driving operational excellence within the innovation processes within the organisation. You will executive the innovation strategy identify opportunities for growth and improvement and ensuring alignment between the Innovation portfolio of projects ensuring alignment with BSIs strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage an innovation project portfolio aligned with BSIs goals and strategic objectives.
- Monitor the performance and progress of innovation projects ensuring timely and alignment with business goals.
- Prioritise initiatives with the portfolio based on strategic importance return on investment and available resources.
- Lead crossfunctional teams and manage operational of Innovation Studios ensuring they are completed on time within scope and within budget.
- Ensuring projects follow approved innovation workflows and respective governance objectives are adhered to.
- Identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and areas for improvement within current innovation processes and propose solutions.
- Implement tools and platforms that support innovation management (e.g idea management software project tracking tools).
- Work closely with the Innovation Leadership Team to help define and refine the companys Innovation strategy.
- Regularly communicate portfolio status progress and outcomes to key stakeholders including senior management and external partners.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Proven experience within Innovation Management Product Development or Portfolio Management in technologydriven or fastpaced environment.
- Excellent strategic thinking problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in risk management budgeting and resource allocation.
- Strong understanding of innovation methodologies such as Design Thinking Agile or Lean Startup.
- Demonstrable ability to manage complex portfolios prioritise initiatives and deliver measurable results.
