Job Description
- Examine contents of shipments and compare with records to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments. Verifies items received noting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Process in and out bound shipments.
- Operate propane or electricpowered forklifts to transport load and unload materials. Operate overhead cranes as necessary to load unload and transport material to production or for shipment.
- Split and merge containers and container weigh count.
- Weight materials or products and record pertinent data on tags or labels. Enters information into computer and create computer bar codes shipping labels etc.
- Perform Cycle Inventory.
- Performs duties in a safe manner with attention to quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Steeltoed shoes and safety glasses required while performing duties in production areas.
- Some computer literacy and data entry knowledge.
- Previous experience with Plex (ERP system) a plus.
