About the team and the role:
As a staff content designer you will lead key endtoend projects that enhance the buying and selling experience on eBay. Youre adept at finding a path forward as you create scalable and durable solutions and you drive alignment with your crossfunctional partners by engaging in healthy debate.
As a fullstack staff content designer you know writing is designing. You see language as a design material and as an integral part of the UX design process and you get others to think the same. You not only understand how to evaluate the quality of content design but also contribute to the evolution of frameworks guidelines or standard methodologies. You enjoy working with crossdiscipline partners to cocreate strategies iterate through all stages of fidelity and define outcomes in ambiguous spaces.
What you will accomplish:
Drives key features products or initiatives based on company priorities
Build scalable solutions that set team standards
Drive a cohesive product narrative and endtoend consistency in partnership with marketing and customer support teams.
Ensure content is accessible and inclusive and collaborate with the Localization team to scale content for global markets.
What you will bring:
8 years professional experience in contentfocused roles with 6 of those years on inproduct UX content
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience or equivalent in English journalism communications marketing humancentered interaction or related field portfolio of work demonstrating humancentered design thinking and solutions
Experience leading the design process from early concept to launch
Experience developing a product content strategy for web and mobile including designing for accessibility and inclusivity
