Description/Summary
Patrol Deputy Fulltime position. $28.75 with shift differential for night shift. Wisconsin Retirement Fund and comprehensive County benefits including medical dental vision disability and deferred compensation. Uniform and gear provided including vest and firearm.
Extra duty pay for Dual Certified (Jail and Law Enforcement) Humane Officer Field Training Officer WI DOJ Certified Instructor Bilingual (Spanish) and SWAT Team Leader.
Several benefit time options: vacation personal paid holiday comp time and sick leave.
Special assignment opportunities available in Honor Guard SWAT Drug Investigator ATV Patrol Drone Piolet and Crisis Negotiator.
Incentive pay for physical readiness.

The patrol deputy position includes:
* Traffic and criminal law enforcement
* Supervision of inmates
* Court services and civil process.
Applicants must be available to work a rotating 12hour schedule which includes nights weekends and holidays. This schedule allows for every other FridaySaturdaySunday off.Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Must have completed a 720hour law enforcement academy program certified by the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board (LESB)
* Minimum age of 21
* U.S. citizen (per WIs. Stats. 66.05012
* No unpardoned felony convictions nor any offense that could be punished as a felony in Wisconsin
* No misdemeanor convictions for domestic violence as defined in 18 USC 921(a)33 or domestic abuse under Wis. Stats. 968.075 1(a)
* Must be of good character
* Must be free from any physical emotional or mental conditions that would negatively affect law enforcement duties
* Ability to meet physical performance requirements
* Vision correctable to 20/20
* Valid drivers license
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Selfmotivated and have the ability to work in a team environment
* After probation residency within 40 miles of the Green County Sheriffs Office.
Education Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must have 60 college credits and Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board certification or qualify for outofstate or military law enforcement reciprocityOther

* A psychological examination
* A medical examination.
These requirements may be waived for current employees performing related duties.
