Job Description

Adjunct Positions: Physics Lab Instructor

Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for a parttime adjunct faculty position in physics. The successful candidate will teach up to two threehour labs one algebra based and the other calculus based general physics held inperson. The start date for Fall 2025 is August 12th but the Department seeks candidates for future semesters as well. Contracts may be renewed on a semesterbysemester basis pending enrollment instructor availability and student success.

Qualification for this position include:

MS in physics or related field preferred
A BS in physics ore related field required
Experience teaching at the college level is preferred but not required
Strong communication skills
Familiarity with laboratory instruction is preferred
