Trainee Patent Attorney Medicinal Chemistry

Your New Role

A rare and exciting opportunity now exists for aTrainee Patent Attorneyto join our growingMedicinal Chemistryteam in Melbourne. This is a permanent fulltime role.

The role involves challenging work with exposure to a variety of top clients including patent drafting and advice for large corporations ASXlisted companies and leading universities and research organisations.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a trainee you will handle various patentrelated tasks for a diverse group of clients both local and international.

Your Training and Skills

To be considered for this opportunity it is a requirement that you have:

  • Excellent academic background with at least aPhDlevel qualification in a subject relating to MedicinalChemistry
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Superior analytical skills
  • An outstanding eye for detail
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts accurately and succinctly
  • Rigorous time management skills with the ability to deliver results within specific timeframes
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously
