The Manufacturing Engineer Intern assists the Manufacturing Engineering Team supporting cost savings initiatives and product obsolescence. This is an immediate onsite role which requires approximately 20 hours per week during the school year. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Gather data from internal and external sources to create and maintain yield dashboard
- Update drawings bill of materials and labeling using the change control process
- Create test protocols and reports
- Perform product verification and validation testing
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives
- Assist in resolving product quality issues
- Support the Manufacturing Engineering Team as needed
QUALIFICATIONS: - Pursuing a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field (or recent BS graduate in related field)
- Proficient in PC operations and navigation
- Proficient in Solidworks MS Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in PowerBI preferred
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate crossfunctionally
- Must be able to work onsite
