You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMcInnes Wilsons technology intellectual property and information governance practice which sits within the firms dynamic corporate advisory team is experiencing growth and is looking for an associate or senior associate level lawyer with experience working on intellectual property and technology related matters.
This role presents an opportunity for a highly motivated senior lawyer to play a pivotal role in assisting lead the continued growth of the practice and team capitalising on the practices momentum in these areas. The practice is focussed on front end commercial transactions involving intellectual property issues as well as broader corporate transactions within the technology industry and intellectual property advice registration and disputes.
This opportunity will provide the right candidate with a significant learning and career development opportunity. The technology intellectual property and information governance practice currently has a single Partner Michael Fredericks who has specialist experience within these fastmoving areas of law both obtained within several toptier firms and as the Managing Director of several listed and unlisted public technology and data companies. With real world corporate technology experience and an established network of relationships with the technology industry across Brisbane Sydney and Melbourne Michael is eager to share this experience with the right candidate and to leverage this network of contacts to further grow the practice and team.
The work being performed by the group encompasses a mix of specialist technology intellectual property and information governance work as well as corporate advisory and transactional corporate work in the technology and data industry. This work includes the following:
